Peter van Roekel was born in Adelaide, Australia and has an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Sydney. He has also lived in several other countries of varying politeness, including Japan, the Netherlands, USA and England.

By day he studies Philosophy of Science and by night he watches TV and tries to get to bed on time.
